Do you like games? I do. I love games. Card games, question games, board games, video games, tile games, word games, mind games, logic games, outside games-I love almost every kind of game. I really like a game that makes you think (some of my favorite are: word warp, set, rummikub, taboo, logic puzzles, and bananagrams). When I asked for a hint/clue of what my birthday present would be (but nothing that would totally give it away or be too easy), Zac decided to send me riddles. It sounds silly, but they are so fun and he is getting good at writing them.
Riddle One:
In 224 you'll be the queen
But what could this possibly mean?
If you wish more riddles for your day of birth
You must answer the question above first.
This one wasn't bad.
Riddle Two:
Even after the 2nd great war the fighting was fierce;
this is where we find the 4077 and Dr. Pierce.
His given nickname will be your next clue,
but send it to me first to get past question 2.
With a little googling it was easy.
Riddle Three:
The aforementioned fly here with twenty-two woesBut maybe the new guru will have good seed to sow
One word of this answer will be your first real hint
and maybe you'll feel like you've made a nice dent.
Googling once again made this an easy job. I had a little confusion over what the actual question was, but Zac explained it was the place, bot the guru.
Riddle Four:
In 2 x 3 there will be no more,
but this next question will have parts 12/4
The first is so plus you on the end.
The next is the last two things to mend.
What is the end of many and heard like a snake in the grass?
Now put them together and answer to pass.
What makes you afraid at night?
A bit trickier than the others and definitely not something I could google. This was my favorite yet.
Answers:
1. In 224 hours it would be my birthday
2. Hawkeye
3. Iowa
4. Sounds
That's the last one for now, but he promises more. It's fun.
